Tommy Henriksen was born on February 21, 1964 in Port Jefferson Station (NY). He is the second youngest of five children. 

His mother raises the children alone. Money is always scarce. But with several jobs at the same time and a huge heart, she never manages to make the children feel poorer than others. It enables Tommy to make music and boldly tackle new challenges. Even though she died early, she still influences Tommy's decisions and plays an important role in his life.

Tommy was a member of a speed skating team as a teenager. He was known there as "Rink Rat"

A Rink Rat helps out everywhere and is allowed on the ice for free.

To this day, he remains modest and only does what he thinks is right for himself and not necessarily what brings money. Since 2013, Tommy has been married to his second wife, Sandra Henriksen. Living together in the tranquil town of Nänikon in Switzerland. The guitarist spends as much time as possible with Sandra and their son Finn, whom he teaches everything about music at an early age.
