Musical path
Basically, Tommy is a bassist.
Influenced by bands like "The Who," he wanted to be a guitarist since he was a teenager, but there were just too many of them in his area already. Tommy helped the band Tusk load and unload the equipment, in return he got to watch their rehearsals. Tommy was inspired by the cool Rondinelli brothers. On their advice, he finally learned to play bass and sing. It wasn't until Alice Cooper asked him to be a guitarist in his band that he taught himself to play the guitar.
Together with his brothers and people from the neighborhood, Tommy formed his first band called "Dreamer". He later played successfully with his brother Gene in the band Ruffkut, with whom he released "Fight for the Right" in 1984.
His career took off when he joined the German band "Warlock" later "Doro" in 1986 with which he earned some gold records, especially for the album "Triumph & Agony" (1987). After the end of Warlock, Tommy continued to work for Doro Pesch, more in the role of a producer. He co-wrote several songs on her first solo album, "Force Majeure" (1987), which also achieved gold status.
The musical journey continued with bands like "Big Trouble" and "Needle Park".

In November 1990 Tommy Henriksen (then "Hendrix") came across Jeff Pilson. Tommy joined the band War & Peace and had success with the album "Time Capsule" in 1993. But Jeff also became an important person in T.'s life. He supported Tommy's songwriting and stood by him with life advice.
In 2001, the two reunite to record an album under the name Underground Moon. Jeff Pilson performs under the mysterious name Dominic Moon. The album was praised for its modern electronic industrial rock. In addition to the songs written by Tommy and Jeff Pilson, it also includes a brilliant cover of "Beds are burning" - Midnight Oil.
Do you know Da Skunk?
Tommy founded the punk rock band POL (Parade of Losers) under this synonym in 1994. POL released their first album in 1995 and made it into the top 5 alternative singles charts and onto the Jon Stewart Show with the single "Stupid". The second album "Sprockett" followed a year later. The song "Sixteen and Confused" was later used as the soundtrack for the American animated film Daria - Is It Fall Yet?

At the beginning of 1999, Tommy is broke and about to be thrown out of his apartment. Luckily, Jeff Pilson turns up and asks Tommy to look after his house while he goes on tour himself. He encourages Tommy to write songs and is thrilled when he hears the results.
This creative time leads to Tommy's first solo album "Tommy Henriksen". The single "I see the Sun" is also part of the soundtrack of the movie "Blast from the Past".
It becomes his biggest commercial success to date. Another highlight of the album is the collaboration with Nina Hagen for the song "Beyond life".

In 2001 Tommy returned to punk and founded the band "Boink!" together with Glen Sobel. They quickly became well-known in Los Angeles. In 2005, they released a 5-track EP. The band combined garage rock, pop and punk with a bold, energetic sound. The songs were short, direct and often featured ironic lyrics. In 2006, Tommy adopts the synonym DisVicious as a homage to the Sex Pistols. On May 10, 2006, the album of the same name, Boink!, was released with 11 tracks:
Walk of Fame
Vicious Ally
Eastside Glamour Queen
Prescription Cocktail
Suck It Up
Tommy and Glen used this short-lived project to explore their creative and musical ideas outside the mainstream.
But Tommy Henriksen is not only making a name for himself on stage. With his own label he produces, composes and mixes songs for well-known artists such as Lady Gaga, Kesha, Meat Loaf, Lou Reed, Christian Kane, Halestorm and countless more. Tommy Henriksen is producing a new album with Marc Storace in Switzerland.
He has been a permanent member of Alice Cooper's band since 2011 and later a founding member of the Hollywood Vampires. On the side, just like Buck Johnson and other well-known musicians, Tommy also works on the Hellings project. There he is musical director, guitarist and songwriter. (You can find an interview about this on Buck's page).
But his previous solo albums are also definitely worth listening to.
He is currently dedicated to Crossbone Skully.
