Alice Cooper, born "Vincent Damon Furnier", was born on February 4, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of a minister. Already in 1976 he married his wife Sheryl Goddard with whom he is still together and shares three children.
In 1968 the band "Alice Cooper" was founded, in which Vincent is the lead singer. Success is limited at first, but with songs like "I'm Eighteen" and "Schools Out" The band rocks its way to the top. Im 1964, however, they break up and Vincent starts a solo career, after he took the rights to the stage name "Alice Cooper" after a legal dispute and outraged and thrilled the audience in equal measure with scary stage shows, provocative lyrics and theatrical performances.
Especially in the 1980s he struggled with very severe alcohol problems and went through several withdrawals, since 1984, his addiction is defeated according to his own statements and he falls for a new one, golfing.
Today it's impossible to imagine Rock'n Roll without the inventor of shock rock. With over 25 albums released, more than 13.2 million records sold and numerous music awards, he inspired musicians like Ozzy Osbourne, Kiss and Marilyn Manson.
Not to forget his role in the hard rock band "Hollywood Vampires", founded in 2015, in which he is the lead singer and shows off his skills on the harmonica and rattle.
