Der Anfang - bis 1984
Im Grunde genommen ist Tommy ein Bassist.
Beeinflusst von Bands wie "The Who" wollte er schon seit Teenagerzeiten Gitarrist sein. Das wollten in seiner Gegend zu dieser Zeit allerdings viele. Tommy half der Band Tusk die Ausrüstung ein- und auszuladen, dafür durfte er bei deren Proben zuschauen. Tommy war begeistert von den coolen Rondinelli Brüdern. Auf deren Rat hin lernte er schließlich Bass zu spielen und zu singen. Erst Jahrzehnte später als ihn Alice Cooper fragte, ob er Gitarrist in seiner Band werden möchte, brachte er sich das Gitarre spielen bei.
Gemeinsam mit seinen Brüdern und Leuten aus der Nachbarschaft gründete Tommy seine erste Band namens "Dreamer". Später spielte er mit Bruder Gene erfolgreich in der Band Ruffkut, mit der er 1984 "Fight for the right" veröffentlichte.

Basically, Tommy is a bassist.
Influenced by bands like "The Who," he wanted to be a guitarist since he was a teenager, but there were just too many of them in his area already. Tommy helped the band Tusk load and unload the equipment, in return he got to watch their rehearsals. Tommy was inspired by the cool Rondinelli brothers. On their advice, he finally learned to play bass and sing. It wasn't until Alice Cooper asked him to be a guitarist in his band that he taught himself to play the guitar.
Together with his brothers and people from the neighborhood, Tommy formed his first band called "Dreamer". He later played successfully with his brother Gene in the band Ruffkut, with whom he released "Fight for the Right" in 1984.

Seine Karriere nahm Fahrt auf, als er in die deutsche Band "Warlock" später "Doro" eintrat, mit denen er einige goldenen Schallplatten verdiente.
Weiter ging die musikalische Reise von da aus mit Bands wie "Big Trouble" und "Needle Park".

(Susanne)Jeff Pilson als musikalischer Partner - seit 1990
Im November 1990 stieß Tommy Henriksen (damals "Hendrix") auf Jeff Pilson. Tommy trat der Band War & Peace bei und feierte mit dem Album "Time Capsule" 1993 Erfolge. Jeff wurde aber auch eine wichtige Person in T.s Leben. Er unterstützte Tommys Songwriting und stand ihm mit Lebensrat zur Seite.
2001 kommen die beiden noch einmal zusammen, um unter dem Namen Underground Moon ein Album aufzunehmen. Jeff Pilson tritt unter dem mysteriösen Namen Dominic Moon auf. Das Album wurde für seinen modernen elektronisch industriellen Rock gelobt. Neben den Songs von die Tommy und Jeff Pilson geschrieben haben, enthält es auch ein geniales Cover von "Beds are burning" - Midnight Oil.

In November 1990 Tommy Henriksen (then "Hendrix") came across Jeff Pilson. Tommy joined the band War & Peace and had success with the album "Time Capsule" in 1993. But Jeff also became an important person in T.'s life. He supported Tommy's songwriting and stood by him with life advice.
In 2001, the two reunite to record an album under the name Underground Moon. Jeff Pilson performs under the mysterious name Dominic Moon. The album was praised for its modern electronic industrial rock. In addition to the songs written by Tommy and Jeff Pilson, it also includes a brilliant cover of "Beds are burning" - Midnight Oil.

Kennst du Da Skunk?
Unter diesem Synonym gründet Tommy Henriksen 1994 die Punkrock-Band POL (Parade of Losers). 1995 veröffentlicht POL ihr erstes Album und schaffte es mit der Single „Stupid“ in die Top-5 Alternativ-Single-Charts und in die Jon Stewart Show.
Ein Jahr später folgt das zweite Album „Sprockett“. Der Song „Sixteen and Confused“ wurde später als Filmmusik für den amerikanischen Zeichentrickfilm Daria – Is It Fall Yet?

Tommy Henriksen founded the punk rock band POL (Parade of Losers) under this synonym in 1994. POL released their first album in 1995 and made it into the top 5 alternative singles charts and onto the Jon Stewart Show with the single "Stupid". Anfang 1999 ist Tommy pleite und kurz davor aus seinem Apartment geworfen zu werden. Zum Glück taucht Jeff Pilson auf und bittet Tommy auf sein Haus aufzupassen, während er selbst auf Tour ging. Er ermutigt Tommy Songs zuschreiben und ist begeistert, als er die Ergebnisse hört.
Diese kreative Zeit führt zu Tommys erstem Soloalbum "Tommy Henriksen". Die Single "I see the Sun" ist auch Teil des Soundtracks des Filmes "Blast from the Past". Es wird sein bisher größter kommerzieller Erfolg. Ein weiteres Highlight des Albums ist die Zusammenarbeit mit Nina Hagen für den Song "Beyond life".

At the beginning of 1999, Tommy is broke and about to be thrown out of his apartment. Luckily, Jeff Pilson turns up and asks Tommy to look after his house while he goes on tour himself. He encourages Tommy to write songs and is thrilled when he hears the results.
This creative time leads to Tommy's first solo album "Tommy Henriksen". The single "I see the Sun" is also part of the soundtrack of the movie "Blast from the Past". It becomes his biggest commercial success to date. Another highlight of the album is the collaboration with Nina Hagen for the song "Beyond life".

Boink! - 2006
2001 ist Tommy zurück beim Punk und gründet zusammen mit Glen Sobel die Band Boink! In Los Angeles werden sie schnell bekannt. 2005 veröffentlichten sie eine 5-Track-EP. 2006 legt sich Tommy das Synonym DisVicous zu, als Homage an die Sex Pistols.

Im Januar 2024 produziert Tommy mit Marc Storace dessen neuestes Album.

Heute
Seit 2011 ist er festes Mitglied von Alice Coopers Band und später Gründungsmitglied der Hollywood Vampires. Nebenbei arbeitet Tommy genau wie Buck Johnson und andere bekannte Musiker auch am Projekt Hellings mit. Dort ist er Musikalischer Direktor, Gitarrist und Songwriter. Aber auch unbedingt hörenswert sind seine bisherigen Soloalben.
Aktuell widmet er sich Crossbone Skully.

He has been a permanent member of Alice Cooper's band since 2011 and later a founding member of the Hollywood Vampires. On the side, just like Buck Johnson and other well-known musicians, Tommy also works on the Hellings project. There he is musical director, guitarist and songwriter. But his previous solo albums are also definitely worth listening to.
He is currently dedicated to Crossbone Skully.
